Dr. Foley is a board-certified general surgeon who has a reputation as a “doctor’s doctor.” He offers exceptional expertise in robotic and laparoscopic surgery and is a nationally recognized instructor in robotics and hernia surgery. Dr. Foley is even known for helping many patients whose abdominal hernias were deemed non-repairable by other surgeons. He is a site proctor for Intuitive, maker of the da Vinci surgical system, and a consultant for Medtronic.
Dr. Foley grew up in Ohio and attended the University of Miami. He earned his medical degree at Albany Medical College in New York and completed his general surgical training at Dwight D. Eisenhower Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia. After a distinguished career in the United States Army, which included multiple deployments to Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, and Kosovo, Dr. Foley separated as a Lieutenant Colonel and joined our practice.
