Dr. Ravindra “Ravi” George is one of the few surgeons in this region specializing in esophageal cancer. He has established an outstanding reputation in performing robotic and laparoscopic surgery. In fact, 90% of Dr. George’s surgeries utilize minimally invasive techniques. He is also a highly respected instructor in the field of surgery. Dr. George’s interests include hiatal hernia surgery, inguinal and abdominal hernia surgery, colon resection, gallbladder surgery, esophagectomy and endoscopy.

Dr. George joined our practice in 2012. He grew up in Sri Lanka and attended the prestigious Christian Medical College. After becoming a full surgeon in that system, Dr. George immigrated to the United States and completed surgical residency training at Stony Brook Hospital in New York.
